Welcome to the 1859 Revival Site

In this 150th anniversary year of 1859 Revival we dedicate this site with thanksgiving for the great and glorious things God did that year in our country. We celebrate the lasting effect His power has had through these past 150 years and look forward to what He will continue to do for us - the end is not yet, the best is still to come. We invite you to join with us in thanksgiving and in prayer that 2009 may be a unique spiritual year for Ulster. It is our hope that in it we will see great things done by God for the furtherance of His Kingdom.

I trust that you will enjoy your visit to this site as it introduces you to the 6th and updated edition of my book The ‘Fifty-Nine’ Revival.

First printed fifty years ago, each edition of this book has been blessed. It has been used as a textbook by theological scholars of the Revival and as a reference book by local historical students. Most of all, it has been an encouragement to believers as they have learnt the extent and power of the Revival. In this 150th anniversary I trust that it will inspire a new generation of believers, and lead them to share with us the vision we have for Revival in our day.
